NiaOnline is the premiere online destination for and about the interests of Black women. Lifestyle advice, opinions, inspirational profiles, important research--if it matters to Black women, it's being addressed at NiaOnline. We're also the home of NiaPedia, the world's largest library of original online articles and reports specifically about Black women and their families.
Our Parent Company
The creator of NiaOnline is Nia Enterprises, LLC, an online publishing, research and marketing services company founded in January 2000. Since then, the company has been providing opt-in permission-based marketing data solutions related to growing and diverse markets.
Our offerings include NiaPulse (www.niapulse.com), NiaOnline (www.niaonline.com), NiaPedia, The NIA Lifestyle Guides (www.nialifestyleguides.com), the Quick Response research service, custom research, online focus groups, NiaOnline Research Monitors, The Nia Guide For Black Women series of books, diversity consulting, and event-based solutions.
Our Executive Team
Our founder, president and CEO is Cheryl Mayberry McKissack. Ms. Mayberry McKissack is well-regarded as an entrepreneur in the worlds of communications, research, and technology. She has also been co-editor of The Nia Guide for Black Women series of books and an Associate Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University. Prior to founding Nia Enterprises in 2000, Ms. Mayberry McKissack enjoyed a successful 23-year corporate career in technology, which included serving as the Worldwide Senior Vice President and General Manager Open Port Technology. She was also Vice President for the Americas and a founding member of the Network Systems Division for 3Com (formerly U.S. Robotics). Ms. Mayberry McKissack started her technology career with the IBM Corporation where she enjoyed a 14-year career in sales, marketing and management positions. Ms. Mayberry McKissack, a native of Seattle, Washington, received her B.S. from Seattle University the four-year program in two-and-one-half years and her MBA from Northwestern's J.L. Kellogg School of Management. She serves on the boards of numerous corporations, professional organizations, and nonprofits.
