Mostly, I’m oblivious to Tiger Woods other than on the golf course, but my High Tech Lynch-O-Meter’s been clanging for the last week, and this time it’s not Clarence Thomas crying wolf. Enough of the 24-7 media hype around allegations of Woods’ adulterous affairs. Unless my partner’s the perp, it’s none of my business. Besides, Tiger Woods isn’t a spiritual or moral leader, he’s the world’s richest athlete and a money machine for corporate America. What’s with the reverse discrimination lynch mob? Isn’t it Woods who was allegedly attacked by his wife, Elin, when she discovered his infidelity? Rumor is she went ballistic, physically assaulted him, chased him out of the house, and bopped him in the mouth with a golf club. Talk about beating the putter that feeds you. And you thought your family acts crazy around the holidays.
Other than fodder for the gossiping, snickering, contemptuous worst in me, fed by constant coverage and a deluge via internet of jokes,commentary and photo-shopped pictures (sorry, no links here, can’t aid and abet the madness), I care as much about what the planet’s only self-annointed Cablasian does off the course as he does about me and other black women, nada. (Call yourself whatever you want Tiger, but the punishment for messing with a white woman is suspension of your de-raced pass – ask O.J.)
Do you think Woods would have given a black nanny a nicked golf ball, much less married her? As for media efforts to portray his alleged paramours - a nightclub hostess, club promoter, and cocktail waitress – as other than celebrity stalking, wanna-be-famous-but-do-nothing-for-it-schemers, getouttahere! Too much information. I’d rather not know that behind the focused, magnificent golfer Woods is a sheltered, apolitical, spoiled, embarrassing supplicant at the temple of low rent club babes.

My son and and his friends only date white women, I asked my son one day why?. He said white women appeal to him and women of color do not. I said then and there to each it own and left it along. Being in a relationship that involved a different race, you have to be careful about what you say or do not to offend anyone. Having a relationship with our own race is hard enough but to date or marry out of our race is even harder. If Tiger Woods like white women better than women of colors that is his choice. But he had no idea he had married a Mean White Woman. And now he will have to watch his Back.

Whether Tiger Woods remains married or not will not impact my life one bit. I could care less and I’m tired of the media obsession with this craziness. What did grab my attention was when some radio jock idiot (white) compared Tiger with OJ. Now what’s that about? Hmmm Tiger you better watch your back…
Why is everyone attacking Tiger’s wife? We don’t definitively know if she attacked him. Even this article says “Rumor is she went ballistic” and “allegedly attacked” him. We don’t know that she is “mean”. Maybe some of us would have reacted in a “mean” way if we caught our spouses cheating.
i am so tired of hearing about this. the media acts as though tiger is the first man to ever cheat on his wife, he most certainly is not the first nor will he be the last. tiger could have reacted like some men that i know personally and when she busted out his escalade windows they would have gotten out and opened up a can of whoop azz
on her real quick. so i believe he should recieve some kind of credit for that. also, who are all of these women that now want to come out of the closet and confess to having some kind of sexual relationship with him. the whole thing is a mess. my last opinion in the matter is that tiger should have had a prenup when someone has the kind of money he does i dont care how much you think you love someone you must protect yourself at the same time. i wish them the best of luck, either they will work it out or walk a way but still be able to communicate for the sake of the children.
Look, who a person likes is their business. But black or white, treat the mother of your beautiful children with respect. Having said that, when Chris Brown attacks Rihanna, the black man is vilified. When Elin attacks Tiger Woods, the black man is vilified. Wait a minute what about the attacker? Better yet, why vilify Tiger or Elin. Why not. Let that couple work it out, including opting out?
As for Chris Brown he needs professional help and deserved the reprimand. And if he loses some dpondorships, well you screwed up BIG TIME. But to take hid career away forever?
